The skid mounted TSU system module of oil tank interface safety device in the Mobile Big Data Management System for Oil Storage and Transportation developed by Shanghai Qingye Energy Co., Ltd. is a new set of skid mounted TSU system module of oil tank interface safety device developed according to the standards of Sinopec Safety Inspection Bureau on the safety technical requirements and guidance for gas communication on the top of storage and transportation tanks. The system function module is widely used in oil storage and transportation safety management systems such as oil crude oil storage and transportation, light oil storage and transportation, natural gas storage and transportation, oil storage and transportation of various refineries, etc.

System module introduction:

The oil tank connecting main pipe and oil and gas recovery shall be independent of each other. In case of accidents, they can be isolated to prevent mutual channeling.  It is required to carry out safety interlocking through the requirements of pressure, oxygen content LOC exceeding the standard, exhaust fan failure, safety accident, etc.  At present, because the oil and gas recovery is a skid mounted and compact layout, its control system is a small field PLC, which can not meet the safety instrument system specification of GB/T50770-2013.  Due to the long distance between the oil and gas recovery exhaust fan and the gas main pipe on the tank top, the oxygen index of the pipeline exceeds the standard, resulting in the hidden danger of flash explosion.  At the same time, the abnormal operation of oil and gas recovery will destroy the pressure balance of the tank top gas connecting pipe network, and even cause safety accidents. 

The skid-mounted TSU of tank interface safety device not only overcomes the above hidden dangers.  At the same time, the passivation of nitrogen to oxygen index and the safety interlock of isolation and venting are adopted.  The security level of the safety control system of TSU is SLN3, which meets the national standard. 

Dynamic principle of TSU system: 

*Oxygen content of oil and gas exceeds the alarm and nitrogen dilution passivation treatment is introduced: 

The tank top gas enters the tank interface safety device TSU, and the measured value of the oxygen spectrometer is greater than 4%. Introduce nitrogen dilution and passivation treatment. The computer automatically opens the dilution nitrogen valve, and the nitrogen inlet dilution valve enters the tank interface safety device. 

*The storage tank interface is safe TSU, and the liquid level of liquid condensate tank exceeds the limit and enters the drainage treatment. 

1. The tank top gas enters the tank interface safety device TSU, the liquid level of the condensate tank exceeds the limit, and the computer automatically opens the drain valve and balance valve.  The liquid level in the condensate tank drops slowly, and the condensate flows from the condensate tank into the liquid storage tank.  The liquid level in the liquid storage tank rises. 

2. If the liquid level of the condensate tank is less than the lower limit of the liquid level of the condensate tank, the computer will automatically close the drain valve and balance valve.  The liquid level of condensate tank is at the lower limit. 

3. If the liquid level of the liquid tank is higher than the upper limit, the computer will automatically open the compressed nitrogen valve and the liquid drain valve of the liquid tank.  The lower limit of liquid level in the liquid tank, and the liquid flows to the condensate tank.  If the liquid level of the liquid tank is less than the lower limit of the liquid level, the computer will automatically close the compressed nitrogen valve and the liquid drain valve of the liquid tank.  The liquid level in the liquid storage tank is at the lower limit. 

*Three dimensional dynamics of emergency state: 

1. In case of emergency or emergency stop button in the tank farm or oil and gas recovery unit, the computer will automatically open the high point vent valve and nitrogen dilution valve.

2. The computer automatically closes interlock valve 1 and interlock valve 2, opens interlock valve 3 for double valve cut-off and high point venting.

3. The computer automatically shuts down the compressor.

4. The computer automatically opens the blocking nitrogen valve.  Nitrogen enters the interlocking double valves and is isolated with nitrogen.
